first of all, i want to say “Merdeka..!” because today is independence day of Indonesia, and this is my first post within this month, because i really busy with my job now, and my family is coming to me in beginning of this month because they want to attend in my graduation ceremony too.

I already watch the dark knight last Monday night, and i feel very impressed with the meaning of the movie. I though that happen very clearly within our present times, even people often make excuse to hide their usual self. At first, i don’t really care about whenever they making excuse for what reason. after it happen to me, i just don’t feel cant accept that myself. i feel i don’t really comfortable talking with that person now. it feel they cant be trusted anymore, and i think i cant give high hope for her / him.

After some though in few month, i decided to get serious in communication field. i have some practice field in my job now, and i see not many people specialized in this kind of field too. that don’t mean that i already giving up my dream in cisco field too. i just a step away from my certification. my training is already over, and i just need to get pass the test and the certification is mine. i plan to get this test after i studied more about the basic theories again, because i need to get some strong basic. my plan in the future is either get job in overseas or plan to making new businesses in communication if i have some money for investment too.

Yesterday, we found the culprit already, the one that make all of our IT Division Network slowed dramatically, even detik.com is faster than website on our local domain (LAN).

The Symptom is like this, when we browse on the internet, on every source in all web is added some script that make the user download the Trojan it self. its hard to differentiate the infected computer and clean computer because there is no difference in the view of the web. the script is look like this :

today i hear my friend late for his important moment, well i just feel sorry to him too, because it really put him in really dangerous situation now, i hope he can recover well this time. thinking about him, i became scared because i late a lot too. i’m already aware about that and still thinking about improving myself to not be late again.

after some upgrade on the server, and now my blog is back up again. yeah its because the old server cant keep up with the cacti tools anymore (old server processor is only 500 MHz). now it powered with intel xeon (not sure about the speed this time)

Cacti is a network monitoring tool. it use SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) to get data on the server its monitor. it can make graph for the cpu, memory usage, or it can graph the internet usage on the server / client as long has SNMP activated. we use this tool a lot with our server at http://noc.binus-access.com/cacti/

first i say sorry if this post offended some people, but this is what i feel right now, i don’t even get something when i helping people, but people sometimes push me to help his / her problem.

Its happen to me again today, when its happen, my chest ache and i feel so lonely. its not about love that make me like this, just problem between friends. when “some” (well “some” mean not all my friend like this of course, just few of people around me) people need me, they will desperate look and urge me to solve his/her problem, but when they not need me to solve his/her problem, they don’t even recall me in some event (forgotten already). so what mean of friend if they only look or talk when she/he need me ?

well this is my first post after a couple week, i’ve been very busy in these last couple week, so when i get home, i feel so sleepy, and go to sleep after that

Bee-Phone…. some of you must already know about that. Its free VoIP service offered by Binus University to its student. Bee-Phone is based on SIP Protocol. SIP is Session Initiation Protocol - An IP Telephony signaling protocol developed by IETF (internet engineering task force). Its a Standard protocol for initiating and interactive user session that involves multimedia elements such as video and voice. The server is using asterisk, an Open Source PBX and Telephony Platform developed by Digium (http://www.asterisk.org) and the client is use any SIP based client over the internet, but the one that offered in bee-phone website is X-Lite, the freeware version of popular SIP phone software developed by CounterPath (http://www.counterpath.com), it support voice with G711 uLaw, aLaw, GSM, iLBC audio codec, and video with H.263 and H.263+ Video Codec

Today is a busy day, because today i must go to all binus location for survey. Place that i must go today is :

first i start in Binus syahdan, i come in 9.30 am and waiting for selindo alpha technician to arrive in 10 am. but because there some malfunction in my hand phone (little shock then it suddenly off), selindo alpha technician cant contact me at all, i realize that my hand phone is off when i check my email and that man tell me that he cant reach me by phone, after that i check my hand phone and find that it off. so i turned it on and then call him to tell him that i already in binus syahdan.

Not a much happen today, just like an ordinary boring day because i don’t do much activities today except cleaning up my hard drive files because the free space is already in critical.

another thing happen today is my friend, roy, today message me in the yahoo messenger and give some nice suggestion for my blog.

first of all, he say, blog is not a tutorial, the content of the blog should contain about me, for example about new games that i play, or how slow my internet connection today, because the reader of the blog will understand more about me (then he say, maybe there is secret admirer that will read to know about me too )

most of you already know about cisco right? its some big company that manufacture network equipment in the world, almost every medium to big company use cisco for their networking, so its dream of every man that work in networking field to get used with cisco equipment

there is several certification that cisco offer, the most basic one is CCNA, but because i dont have any experience with cisco, i planning to get some cisco course in binus center syahdan, but i don’t get any place because its already late to apply now

i almost give up in CCNA certification, then a friend told me about some site that give a huge mass of cisco resource
